Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing is at the heart of our mission and ethos at St Leo the Great Primary School.  We place a strong emphasis on developing a school culture that promotes respect, inclusion, social responsibility and co-operation. We recognise the need for all staff to be involved in a whole school approach in the promotion of wellbeing with a focus on prevention and early intervention strategies.

At St Leo's we aim to provide quality teaching and learning practices which promote individual success and achievement for all our students. We hope to develop positive relationships between staff and students to promote student connectedness and engagement. Targetted teaching and modelling of Social Skills to students is seen as paramount to develop emotionally well rounded individuals.
